This is called the F.O.B. (Freight on Board).
Closeouts World has surplus to sell from different department stores, all of them filled with great new closeouts for you!
We have different merchandise sent from many places including:
California, Florida, Canada, Georgia, Connecticut, Texas , New York, Illinois, Ohio
We ship our merchandise using different freight companies, depending on the merchandise being shipped. We use UPS and Fed Ex for smaller packages and cases. We use trucking companies with 18-wheelers and semi-trucks for pallets and truckloads. Sometimes, we use trains to haul closeout merchandise truckloads across the country.
If you need your merchandise as quickly as possible, we can even send it by plane. Just let us know and we’ll accommodate you to the best of our abilities.
Either way, we’ll make sure that your surplus closeout merchandise gets to you as quickly as possible! We want you to start selling the merchandise so you can re-order!
So , how exactly does the shipping process work? Good Question!
In order to know the cost of shipping, we must first know a few key factors:
- What it is that you are buying, for example clothing, electronics, books, etc.? Each one of these is classified with its own class and each class has a different price category.
- How much does it weigh? This again depends on the class. For example, a pallet of books will weight much more than a pallet of socks will. As a result, the price of shipping will change.
- How many pallets are you purchasing? The more pallets you ship, the lower the price of shipping becomes per pallet. The freight companies give you a discount for volume.
- Where is the shipment coming from? A pallet shipped from our Florida warehouse to Georgia will be much less expensive to ship than to ship it from the Florida warehouse to California or Washington State.
If you have your own shipping company and want to use it, please feel free and go right ahead, but 99% of the time our rates beat the ones that our clients get. The best thing is that we will give you a FREE FREIGHT QUOTE.

Closeouts World gives you the option of either buying truckloads as they come into our warehouse or making your own truckload.
So, what does that mean?
We recognize the fact that now everybody can use 24 pallets of the same item like a truckload of electronics or 30,000 piece of clothing. That’s why Closeouts World let’s you build your own truckloads!
You choose what merchandise you want to order and we’ll fill up the truck for you. For example a discount store may want a little of everything, so we would advise them to buy the following:
